ELCA, the European Lifts Components Association, was founded in 1998 and is based in Brussels. It is a European Economic Interest Group established under Belgian Law and open to all lifts components manufacturers in Europe. The role of the association is to represent, develop and protect its members' common interest as European lifts, good lifts components manufacturers and particularly safeguard the interests of lifts components manufacturers and micro, small and medium (SMEs) lifts companies.
ELCA is open to all lift component manufacturers in Europe. Within ELCA we combine a truly European network between micro, small, medium sized lift component manufacturers and related lifts sectors with years of expertise ELCA will keep you updated on all technical and political issues related to the lift sector with its bi-annual bulletin ELCA is recognised as the "voice" of the European lift component manufacturers by the European Institutions and other related industry associations ELCA participates to the meetings with the European Commission Standing Committee and other regulatory bodies at European and International level ELCA joined forces with EFESME and launched the Lift Forum, a technical and political common table at European level aimed at achieving increased power and effectiveness towards the European Institutions ELCA seeks to continuously improve itself by exploring the wishes of its membership.
